Born May 3, 1956 in Boston’s North End (also known as Little Italy), Joey Chiarenza fell in love with the music of Frank Sinatra as a child. While his siblings and friends were listening to the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, Joey was immersing himself in Sinatra records. As Joey grew up, he began singing at family affairs. In countless memories, he hears his mother say, “Get up and sing my song.” Her song was “My Way” and to this day it means more to him than any other Sinatra song.

In 2012, after a lot of encouragement from family and friends, Joey took a chance and did his first public performance in Stoneham, MA. Over 200 people bought tickets, and from there his professional singing career took off. Joey’s performed all over New England, and is now taking his show across the U.S.

Joey and his wife of over four decades, Gina, moved from the North End in 2005. Today they live in Salem, MA and spend all of their free time with their sons and grandchildren.
