PRESS RELEASE: Benefit to End MS: North Ender Joey Chiarenza Brings His Sinatra Show to Somerville City Club

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BENEFIT TO END MS: NORTH ENDER JOEY CHIARENZA BRINGS HIS

SINATRA CHRISTMAS SHOW TO SOMERVILLE CITY CLUB

(October 29, 2019 Somerville, MA) - On December 7, 2019 at the Somerville City Club, The Music of Sinatra starring Joey Chiarenza will be hosting a night of Sinatra’s greatest hits - and his favorite Christmas tunes - to benefit The National MS Society (NMSS).

Joey Chiarenza has wanted to raise money to fight MS for some time now. And the season of giving felt like the perfect time to do it. Joey will be joined by his good friend singer Linda Chase, and a portion of all proceeds will go directly to the National MS Society. Born in Boston’s North End, Joey Chiarenza fell in love with the music of Frank Sinatra as a child. While his siblings and friends were listening to the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, Joey was immersing himself in Sinatra records. As Joey grew up, he began singing at family affairs.

In 2012, after encouragement from family and friends, Joey took a chance and did his first public performance in Stoneham, MA. Over 200 people bought tickets, and from there his professional singing career took off. Joey’s performed all over New England, and is soon taking his show across the U.S.

But for this Christmas season, Joey’s staying close to home and taking up the cause that means so much to him. “Overcoming MS is something that means a lot to me and my family. And the more I talk about it, the more I realize that so many people are affected. This show is for them.”
